  I have enjoyed some aspect of art my entire life starting in kindergarten.  Exploring realism with oils and acrylics was my first passion, but I was always drawn to watercolor.  After retirement the time had come to explore this fascinating medium.

Beginning with lessons at the Paradise Art Center over 12 years ago I fell in love with the dynamic and ever changing essence of watercolor and never looked back.

I have taught watercolor for over 10 years and have followed a simple philosophy...teach techniques and not a style.  This allows class members to explore their personal artistic vision.

My paintings have been shown at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center, the Chico Art Center, the WASH Gallery in Arizona and the Paradise Art Center.  I have won numerous awards but consider teaching the greatest experience of my life.
